Community Services

The Community Services Program hosts a variety of community-based events (community wide and neighborhood based), manages youth and adult athletic leagues, offers recreational and instructional activities and classes, manages the City’s community gardens, manages the skate park and senior center, and manages the Citywide Volunteer Program. The City continues to work collaboratively with local youth sports groups and San Luis Coastal Unified School District to meet the needs of the community. Programming promotes community engagement, healthy lifestyles and social interactions. The division is also expanding childcare scholarship opportunities (sports camps and clinics) for underserved families
