Community members are invited to support the Ranger Service Division by volunteering to aid a community bike event at Laguna Lake Bike Park. Volunteers will be helping to ensure a smooth and safe experience for participants by assisting with parking coordination, directing vehicles, and helping attendees navigate the event area.
Volunteers should be comfortable engaging with the public, providing clear directions, and working outdoors in a team setting. Volunteers can expect to be on their feet for extended periods, walking short distances, and communicating with drivers in an active environment. No prior experience is required, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are required.
We hope volunteers walk away with a strong sense of community connection and the rewarding experience of supporting youth engagement in outdoor recreation. This opportunity also offers a chance to be part of a positive, educational environment that encourages kids to build confidence and skills through biking.
Registered volunteers will receive confirmation details from the Volunteer Program the week before the event. For any questions on how to register, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator: [email protected] or 805-858-0771 (can receive text messages).
