Tree Planting Service Days with the Ranger Service Division and Rotary

The City of San Luis Obispo Ranger Service welcomes support from our Rotarian partners and expanded community for upcoming tree planting service days. Confirmation details will be sent a few days in advance to registrants including the location, point person, and additional details like what to wear, bring, expect, etc. If you need support signing up, please contact the City of SLO's Volunteer Program ([email protected] or 805-858-0771).

Prior to service, all volunteers are required to:

  • Have an account on the City's new volunteer portal, Engage SLO
  • Respond to this volunteer opportunity
  • Complete a volunteer waiver

Ranger Service-related volunteer projects: 

  • Require a parent or legal guardian to be present with those 12 - 15 years old.
  • Permits 16-17 year-olds to volunteer without a parent/legal guardian.
